Art Gallery follow up lesson

Art Gallery follow up lesson

On Thursday 2 August Susie from the Christchurch Art Gallery took a lesson related to the Art works we saw in town. We looked at pictures of the works and brainstormed ideas about how to decorate our Waka. Next we folded and glued the Waka and started drawing symbols that told a story about ourselves. Lastly we coloured and decorated the Waka.

Drum Fun

On Tuesday 19th June Rhythm Interactive came to St Anne's to perform to the school.
We all got a drum to play and it was great fun.
We had to copy drumming patterns and repeat lots of beats.
There will now be a free drumming workshop for year 7 and 8 children who are interested for 6 weeks.
