South East Zone Cross Country

15 children travelled to Ferrymead Park on Thursday 30^th May.

After 6 weeks of hard training all athletes impressed with their performances.

Some outstanding results were: Madeline Youngman 1^st,   Jackson Youngman 2^nd,Melissa Burgess 4^th, Indi Timms 5^th , Tatiana Booster 11^th, Nadine Booster 13^th, Tyler Mounty 13^th.

A big thanks for all the parents who helped with transport and supervision on the day.

 

Castles

Room 4 as part of our Toy Unit have been making castles this week. Each group did a great job and presented their castles with lots of creativity.

Ferrymead Visit.

Three teachers form Ferrymead came to St Anne's today to do a programme about olden day toys.
We were broken into two groups and we each looked at puppets and puppet shows, homemade toys, heritage toys and indoor games and toys. It was great fun for all.

Spin Toys

As part of Room 4's Toy unit we started with making some spinning toys.
